Job Description
Our client is a well established Funeral Directors based in Hyndburn, Accrington BB5.
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Funeral Director to join our team, providing exceptional care and support to families across the Hyndburn area during their time of need.
In this meaningful role, you will be responsible for arranging and conducting funerals with dignity, professionalism, and empathy—ensuring every detail is handled with the utmost respect and attention.
Key Responsibilities
• Guide families through funeral arrangements with sensitivity and care
• Organise and lead funeral services, ensuring they reflect the wishes of the family
• Liaise with clergy, celebrants, crematoria, and cemeteries
• Manage logistics including vehicles, staff coordination, and ceremonial elements
• Maintain high standards in line with company values and professional conduct
What We're Looking For -
• Previous experience in funeral directing (preferred but not essential)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A respectful, caring, and professional approach
• Flexibility with working hours, including participation in the out-of-hours rota
• A full UK driving licence
Location: BB5 6AR
Hours: Full Time
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
