Funeral Director
Our client, a respected and compassionate organisation, is seeking an experienced Funeral Director to join their dedicated team. This is an opportunity for a caring, professional, and detail-oriented individual to support families and manage all aspects of funeral arrangements with dignity and respect.

Salary: £29,000 - £31,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities:
Arrange and conduct funerals, ensuring a compassionate and professional service.
Meet with families, executors, solicitors, and other representatives to advise on arrangements and guide them through the registration process.
Liaise with medical personnel, coroners, clergy, crematoria, cemeteries, and related authorities to coordinate funeral logistics.
Manage funeral information accurately on internal systems, ensuring precise records and documentation.
Produce and review invoices in collaboration with the accounts team.
Support the production of service sheets and ensure quality presentation.
Carry out removals and attend call-outs as part of the out-of-hours rota.
Maintain high standards of care for the deceased at all times.
Uphold GDPR, confidentiality, and all relevant legislation.
Participate in regular training, health and safety compliance, and continuous professional improvement.
Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements:
Previous experience as a Funeral Director or in a similar role within the funeral profession.
Strong organisational and communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
Empathetic and professional approach when supporting clients and their families.
Ability to prioritise and self-manage a busy workload.
Understanding of GDPR and relevant funeral-related legislation.
Full UK driving licence required.
