Gaming Party Host
Previous experience not required. Childcare background preferred. Next Generation Gaming provide all training.
At Next Generation Gaming, our Gaming Host Team are at the centre of providing the ultimate Gaming Bus experience to our customers across Wokingham and the surrounding areas.
We are looking for charismatic, customer-focused Gaming Hosts with a natural passion for engaging and supporting children, to join our team, delivering our known brand as being the South East’s ultimate Gaming Party Bus!
We’re looking for energetic, customer-focused team members who love working with children and can confidently lead exciting gaming parties in the head-turning, state-of-the-art Next Generation Gaming Bus.
Drive the (manual drive) Next Generation Gaming Van (training provided). Must hold a clean Full UK Driving Licence, over the age 21 and be confident navigating M4 corridor roads.
Supervise and support children playing on:
Xbox Series S consoles (PEGI 7+ games)
Meta Quest 3 VR Headsets
TrakRacer Pro Driving Simulators
Nintendo Switch
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and set up the Gaming Bus (connect power, prepare consoles).
Deliver a fun, engaging, and smooth-running gaming experience from start to finish.
Ensure a safe, positive environment onboard for all children.
Communicate with parents and guardians professionally.
Maintain a clean and tidy bus between events (minimal cleaning required—no food/drinks allowed by players and shoes are removed).
Represent the Next Generation Gaming brand to the highest standard.
Hours & Flexibility:
Flexible scheduling – Choose the events, days, and times that work for you.
Most events take place on Saturdays and Sundays, Mid-week afternoons (After School Clubs) and School Holiday periods.
Shifts range from 3 hours to full-day events.
Paid travel time between events.
What We’re Looking For:
Gaming Hosts, must hold a clean Full UK Driving Licence, and be over the age of 21 (for insurance purposes, driving the Gaming van). Previous large vehicle experience not required. Training driving the Gaming Van provided.
A passion for engaging and supporting children
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Positive, energetic, and responsible attitude
Ability to manage events confidently and independently
Willingness to learn and deliver a premium gaming experience
Previous childcare or youth work experience is preferable —but not required

What hours/days would you like to work? Our Gaming Bus is usually fully booked every weekend and most afternoons mid-week, so there are plenty of shifts to choose from.
