Location: Various sites across the North of Scotland
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 7am – 6pm
Overview:
Corrie Recruitment is seeking an experienced Ganger on behalf of our client who are a nationwide Civil Engineering contractor.
This is a permanent role offering a good overall package including hourly rate, additional allowances, and bonus incentives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate squad on drainage, concrete, ducting, and general civils tasks
* Work closely with site managers and engineers to deliver works safely, on time, and within budget
* Promote and enforce health & safety procedures on site
* Contribute to a positive site culture and motivate team members to achieve high productivity and quality standards
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Ganger on civil engineering projects
* Strong understanding of drainage, concrete works, and general groundworks
* Valid CSCS card (SSSTS / First Aid desirable)
* Good leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Flexibility to work across various sites (travel time paid)
Package Includes:
* £16.41/hour PAYE
* Productivity bonus – up to £70/week
* Travel time paid
* Subsistence allowance when working away from home
* Permanent, secure role with consistent hours
