Job Description
Artisan are working in partnership with a growing civils contractor to recruit an experienced Team Leader / Ganger to join their expanding team at Utilities Limited.
Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a motivated and hands-on individual with strong leadership skills and a solid background in civils and excavation works.
The Role
You’ll be leading a team on a variety of civils projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is a varied, on-the-road role covering local projects across East Sussex.
✅ Essential Requirements
* Streetworks certificate (excavation on highways)
* Proven experience in:
* Excavations
* Civils works
* Traffic management
* White works & black works
* Full UK driving licence (with towing capability)
* Excavator ticket
Desirable
* CSCS Card
* EUSR Cat 1 & 2

* Strong team player with a proactive attitude
* Takes pride in work and company standards
* Professional with excellent customer service skills
* Committed to health & safety at all times
* Reliable with excellent timekeeping
* Flexible with working hours when required
* Comfortable working in a varied, hands-on role
* Must adhere to strict zero-tolerance drug & alcohol policy (regular testing in place)
