Job Description
The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Gardener working across sites between Egham and Brookwood. This is a full time permanent role with a salary of £26,722 per year, with an immediate start available.
This role involves maintaining outdoor spaces within a defined local area. You will manage your own sections while working as part of a wider estates team, ensuring all areas are kept to a consistently high standard.
This is a hands-on role offering a mix of routine maintenance and general improvement work across well-kept and established sites.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain allocated garden areas to a high standard
Carry out general garden maintenance and improvement work
Complete lawn care including mowing, edging, feeding, and seasonal work
Maintain beds, borders, and planted areas
Carry out seasonal planting including shrubs and bulbs
Monitor plant health and manage pests or disease
Carry out pruning and general plant care
Use horticultural machinery safely and carry out basic checks
Keep sites clean, tidy, and well presented
Follow schedules and record completed work Requirements
Proven gardening or horticultural experience
Strong practical gardening skills
Confident use of horticultural tools and machinery
Ability to work independently across multiple sites
Good understanding of Health and Safety
Full UK driving licence essential Skills and Qualities
Good plant knowledge and attention to detail
Reliable and well organised
Professional and respectful approach
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
