Gas Service & Repair Engineer – Sparta Heating Ltd
Location: Lincolnshire & Newark
Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 (depending on experience)

We take pride in our workmanship and our people — and as our business continues to grow, we’re looking for a dedicated Gas Service & Repair Engineer to join our friendly team.
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced engineer to carry out the servicing and repair of boilers, gas appliances, and plumbing systems across Lincolnshire and Newark.
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll work both independently and alongside our supportive team to ensure every customer receives exceptional service.
While the main focus will be service and repair, you may also get involved in general plumbing and heating work when required.
On-call work may be required on a rota basis, with opportunities to earn additional income. As our company expands, there will be clear progression routes and promotion opportunities for the right person.
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Qualifications
*
Minimum 12 months’ experience as a qualified Gas Engineer & Plumber
*
ACS-qualified in Natural Gas (essential)
*
LPG certification (preferred) – training can be provided
*
Good understanding of boilers, gas appliances, and general plumbing
*
Knowledge of power flushing (preferred but not essential)
Personal Qualities
*
Strong work ethic and a good sense of humour
*
Customer-focused and professional in all interactions
*
Confident working independently or as part of a team
*
Enthusiastic, proactive, and always willing to go the extra mile
Requirements
*
Full UK Driving Licence
