This opportunity is with a respected social housing provider operating across south-east Wales. As a Gas Engineer, you’ll work across both occupied and void domestic properties throughout south-east Wales.
I’d be keen to see applications from anyone who has worked as a Gas Engineer, Heating Engineer, Domestic Gas Engineer or similar within property repairs and maintenance.
As a Gas Engineer, you will be:
Carrying out reactive heating and plumbing repairs
Servicing domestic boilers and fires
Diagnosing faults and providing practical technical solutions
Completing gas inspections, testing and associated works
Recording completed works accurately using electronic systems
Working across occupied and void domestic properties
Supporting wider compliance and maintenance teams
Participating in the out-of-hours call-out service when requiredI’d love to speak to anyone who has:
NVQ Level 2 or Level 3, or equivalent, in their primary trade
A minimum of three years’ relevant experience
CCN1 Core Gas Safety
CENWAT1 Boilers and Water Heaters
CKR1 Cookers
HTR1 Fires
CPA1 Combustion Analysis
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
The ability to work independently with limited supervision
A full UK driving licenceThis Gas Engineer role is offering the following benefits:
