The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of gas appliances, including boilers, cookers, and fires within social housing premises. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of residents through meticulous and thorough maintenance work, addressing both routine and urgent technical challenges.
Key Duties:
* Service, repair, and maintain gas appliances including boilers, cookers, and fires.
* Conduct routine checks to ensure all gas systems are operating efficiently and safely.
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests and urgent technical issues.
* Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
* Interact professionally with social housing staff and residents, providing excellent customer service.
* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work carried out.
* Recommend improvements or upgrades to the gas infrastructure where necessary.
* Provide technical support and advice to the social housing management and staff.
