Job Description
Role Summary
We are recruiting experienced Gas & Plumbing Engineers with proven background in medical gas installation and testing, to join our specialist team on-site in Sweden. The role involves the full installation, pressure testing, and commissioning support of gas and plumbing systems within high-spec laboratory settings.
🧰 Key Responsibilities
*
Install medical gas systems (O₂, N₂O, CO₂, medical air, vacuum) in accordance with HTM 02-01 / ISO 7396-1 standards.
*
Run copper and stainless-steel pipework for chilled water, DI/RO water, and specialist gases.
*
Carry out full testing and certification of medical gas lines, valve boxes, terminal units, and alarm panels.
*
Install plumbing systems for lab sinks, emergency showers, scrub sinks, and cold water supply networks.
*
Report to site supervisor and coordinate with other MEP trades.
📐 Essential Requirements
*
Minimum 5 years’ experience in gas and plumbing roles, ideally within clinical or laboratory environments.
*
Certification in medical gas installation and testing (e.g. HTM 02-01 or MGPS-qualified).
*
Competence in , pressure testing, and leak detection procedures.
*
CSCS / JIB-PMES / SKILLcard or equivalent.
*
Valid passport and eligibility to work in the EU (via UK passport or relevant documentation)
💷 What’s Included

Day Rate: £350– £450 per day depending on certification and experience.
*
Accommodation Paid by LABCOM Ltd.
*
Tools & PPE: Not Provided Duration: Initial 10–12 weeks with potential follow-on projects in Europe.
