📍 UK-wide - Mainly South of England

Are you an experienced Gas Engineer looking for a role where your skills make a real difference? My client are seeking a dedicated Gas Maintenance Service Engineer to join our team, carrying out essential maintenance and repairs on gas forges, hearths, and safety devices within educational environments across the UK.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified professional who thrives on delivering high-quality service, values technical excellence, and is comfortable with regular UK travel.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on gas safety devices in schools
Diagnose and repair faults and breakdowns to industry and company standards
Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations
Maintain a professional appearance and wear company uniform at all times
Build strong relationships with onsite clients and staff
Work independently and as part of a wider service team
Organise and manage your schedule efficiently, including overnight stays when required
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues, both verbally and in writing
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
Valid commercial Gas Safe qualifications (COCNP1LS, ICPN1LS, TPCP1, TPCP1A)
Proven background in gas maintenance and fault diagnosis
Comfortable working away from home (typically Monday to Thursday)
Full UK driving licence
Clear, up-to-date DBS check
Strong technical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service mindset
