Job Description
Service & Repair Heating Engineers Wanted | BS, SN & GL Areas 🔧
R9 Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a leading social housing contractor for experienced PAYE Service & Repair Heating Engineers covering the BS, SN and GL postcode areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity for engineers who are strong on service and repair work and are looking to develop their skillset in renewables and specialist systems, with full support and upskilling provided.
What's on Offer?
* ✅ £40,000 Basic Salary + £7,200 per year for participation in the out-of-hours rota
* ✅ Regular overtime available
* ✅ Company van and fuel card provided
* ✅ 25 days Holiday + Bank Holidays
* ✅ Ongoing training and career progression
* ✅ Upskilling opportunities in ASHP, Oil and LPG systems for the right engineer
The Role
This is a service and repair position within the social housing sector, carrying out diagnostics, fault-finding, servicing and repairs on domestic heating systems.
What We're Looking For
* Extensive service and repair experience
* Unvented Hot Water Qualification
* Previous social housing experience preferred
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Willingness to participate in a 1 in 4 out-of-hours callout rota
Additional Skills Beneficial But Not Essential
* Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) experience
* Oil and/or LPG experience
* F-Gas qualification
