Gas Service Engineer – Social Housing
Subcontract Opportunity
£23 per Property
Location: Birmingham, Covenrty , UK
Weekly Pay | Flexible Workload | Subcontract Basis
Overview:
A leading provider of heating solutions is seeking experienced Gas Service Engineers to deliver high-quality gas services across social housing properties. This is a subcontract role, offering consistent work and weekly pay.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Carry out gas servicing in social housing properties (average of 10+ properties per day).
*
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards and compliance regulations.
*
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional approach at all times.
*
Work collaboratively to meet scheduled targets and deadlines.
Essential Qualifications:
*
CCN1 – Core Domestic Gas Safety
*
CENWAT – Central Heating Boilers & Water Heaters
*
CPA1 – Combustion Performance Analysis
*
CKR1 – Domestic Cookers
*
HTR1 – Gas Fires & Wall Heaters
Requirements:
*
Own van and tools
*
Public and employer’s liability insurance
*
Valid UK driving licence
*
Signed ACS Certificate
*
Gas Safe registration card
*
Enhanced DBS check
*
Right to work documents (passport or birth certificate)
*
Calibration certificate for equipment
*
Valid motor insurance
Preferred Experience:
*
Previous experience in social housing gas servicing is highly desirable.
Payment Details:
*
Weekly pay (one week in arrears)
*
Payments made to LTD or Sole Trader accounts
*
Must be CIS registered unless you have Gross Payment Status
*
CIS payments are subject to a small weekly admin fee
*
