Gastrointestinal Physiologist – Highland Region
Location: Highland Region, Scotland
Schedule: Predominantly midweek, with optional weekends
Rate: £1,000 per day (plus accommodation available if required)
This role offers an excellent opportunity to deliver a wide range of GI physiology investigations in a well-supported, modern clinical environment.
Key Details:
Predominantly midweek work, with optional weekends available

Accommodation available via Synaptik’s corporate account (due to remote location)Core Tests Required:
Oesophageal Manometry
24-hour pH Recording
Ano-Rectal Manometry
Hydrogen Breath TestingAdditional Tests (as required):
Endo-anal Ultrasound
Pelvic Floor BiofeedbackPatient Cohort:
Primarily adults
Small number of patients under 18 years (approximately 5–10 per annum)This position is ideal for physiologists looking to provide high-quality diagnostic services in a collaborative and scenic Highland setting, with flexible scheduling and strong local support.
