Gates, Barriers & Doors Engineer
Location: London
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 basic (depending on experience)
We're working with a well-established automation company looking to add an experienced Gates and Barriers Engineer to their team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and growing business that works with a range of commercial, industrial, and high-security clients across the capital.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automated gates, barriers, and bollards, with additional experience in automatic doors or industrial doors being a significant advantage.

Manufacturer and in-house training
1.5x overtime pay while on site
25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Your role will involve:
Service, maintenance, and installation of automated gates, traffic barriers, and bollards
Diagnosing faults and completing repairs across a variety of sites
Supporting new installations and upgrades of systems
Working independently or as part of a small, efficient team
Completing accurate reports and maintaining a high level of customer service
(Advantageous) Working on automatic sliding/swing doors and industrial doors when required
What we're looking for:
Experience with automated gates and barriers is essential
Knowledge of bollards, sliding gates, swing gates, etc.
Experience with automatic doors or industrial doors is highly desirable
Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Full UK driving licence
Flexible and happy to cover London and surrounding areas
IPAF, DHF, ADSA or equivalent accreditations (preferred but not essential)
