Daily Rate: £180 - £250 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only, Long Term to Permanent

Long Term Futures are seeking a committed and passionate GCSE Maths Teacher to join a specialist setting in Nottingham (NG5). This provision supports students aged 13-16 (KS3 and KS4) who are unable to access mainstream education due to behavioural, emotional or social challenges. You'll play a crucial role in helping students re-engage with learning.
This is a full-time position beginning in September 2025, with interviews and trial days taking place ASAP.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging GCSE maths lessons tailored to individual learning needs
Adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs across KS3 and KS4
Build positive, trusting relationships with students, guiding them to take responsibility for their learning and behaviour
Use assessment and progress tracking to inform and adjust teaching strategies
Collaborate with behaviour mentors and support staff to deliver behaviour support
Develop students' numeracy skills and work with them toward achieving GCSE accreditationRole Requirements:
Qualified teacher with QTS (or eligible for QTS) and GCSE maths teaching experience
Proven ability to manage classes and support learners with challenging behaviours
Strong communicator with empathy and patience
