Are you passionate about education and helping students reach their full potential? We are currently seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable GCSE Tutors to join our growing team. Whether you're an experienced teacher, a graduate, or a subject expert, we'd love to hear from you!
About the Role:
You will be responsible for providing high-quality, one-to-one or small group tuition to GCSE students in one or more of the following subjects:
English Language / Literature
Mathematics
Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
Humanities (History, Geography)
Contract/Position Details:
Location - Within the community or pupils' home
Position - 1:1 Outreach Tutor
Type of work - Contract
Start date - ASAP
Duration - Until the pupil can reintegrate into a new school placement
End date (if applicable) - Ongoing
Contract type - Temporary
Full-time/part-time - Part time (15 hours per week, per student)
Minimum rate of pay - £25 - £30 per hour
Hours - Working hours can differentiate, depending on the convenient timings of the familyExperience, Training and Qualifications of the 1:1 Outreach Tutor:
QTS or equivalent
Possess UK classroom teaching experience
Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupilsTo be eligible for this role, the potential 1:1 Outreach Tutor must:
Hold the right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
