About the Role:
As a GCSE Tutor, you'll work one-to-one or in small groups with students aged 14-16, helping them build confidence, improve understanding, and prepare for exams in one or more of the following subjects:
Maths
English Language / Literature
Biology, Chemistry, Physics
Other subjects considered (please specify in your application)
Tutoring may take place in students' homes, at local centres, or online, depending on availability and preference.
✅ What We're Looking For:
Strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum (Edexcel, AQA or OCR)
Prior tutoring or teaching experience (formal or informal)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patient, reliable, and encouraging teaching style
Degree-level qualification or current undergraduate in relevant subject preferred
DBS checked (or willing to obtain one)
