Gear Actuator Fatigue Analysis Engineer - Aerospace.
Our Aerospace Client in Asia, requires support in the field of gear fatigue strength analysis. This work can be performed either in Asia or remotely with some possible visits.
This activity is offered on a contractor basis through Strongfield Consultants.
The desired Engineer will be assigned to support the Flap/slat actuation system gear fatigue strength analysis based on AGMA standards. The selected Engineer will have strong experience in gear rotary actuators of aircraft high lift systems for civil passenger aircraft such as single aisle and wide body aircraft.
Job Description:
In the High Lift System, the system load will be transmitted to each component. Each gear actuator will withstand limit load or fatigue load as a whole. There is a need to master the method of decomposing product load to these parts, especially the gear rotary actuators with planetary gearbox structures. Then the expert must provide guidance to finish the gear static and fatigue strength analysis based on AGMA standards (American Gear Manufacturers Association) .
