General Driving Operative
£25,000 - £30,000 (12 month Fixed-Term Contract)

gap construction are proud to be representing a hugely respected main contractor in Cambridge in their search for a reliable and motivated General Driving Operative to support operations within a live site across a secure RAF compound.

Role Overview
You will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the site, providing essential driving and logistical support to ensure materials, equipment and personnel are transported safely and efficiently. This is a varied and hands-on position, ideal for someone who enjoys practical work and takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety and service.
Person Specification
Full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
Ability to pass an Advanced DBS check (mandatory for work on RAF sites).
Previous experience in a driving or general operative role is beneficial but not essential.
Strong awareness of safety and site protocols.
Reliable, punctual, and proactive with a positive attitude.
Comfortable working in a secure, structured environment with strict procedures.
Fit and capable of manual handling and routine physical tasks.Apply
