About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with the class teacher to support pupils' learning and development across the curriculum. You'll help create a welcoming classroom atmosphere, provide one-to-one or small group support, and assist with planning and preparation to ensure all pupils can reach their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the teacher in delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Provide individual and small-group support to pupils where needed.
Assist with classroom organisation, displays, and learning resources.
Encourage positive behaviour and promote inclusion.
Follow safeguarding and school policies to ensure pupil well-being.
Requirements:
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Previous experience working with children in a school setting.
A caring, patient, and proactive approach.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
