General Labourer Required

Our client is seeking experienced General Labourer for a temporary contract on a project in Portsmouth. This vacancy is being advertised by a recruitment agency acting on behalf of the employer.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay Rate: £16.60 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  * Assisting skilled tradespeople (e.g. concrete repair teams, painters, steel fixers)

  * General site labouring duties including lifting, carrying, and moving materials

  * Keeping the site clean, tidy, and hazard-free

  * Assisting with surface preparation, including breaking out, cleaning, and prepping areas

  * Following all health & safety regulations at all times

  * Operating basic tools and equipment as required

Requirements:

  * Previous experience in construction or labouring preferred

  * Valid CSCS card (essential)

  * Good level of physical fitness

  * Strong work ethic and reliability

  * Ability to work well as part of a team

  * Awareness of site safety practices
