General Labourer - Wanted - Immediate Start!

Leicester Based | Salary: 16.00 per hour CIS

Temporary - Full-Time

Are you an experienced General Labourer?

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join a professional and growing construction company. This is a site-based role requiring a reliable, motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a wider team. You will be responsible for assisting tradespeople, moving materials, maintaining site cleanliness, and supporting the smooth running of construction projects whilst maintaining high standards of health, safety and workmanship.

Qualifications

Essential:

CSCS Card
Previous experience working on construction sites
Good understanding of health & safety
Ability to follow instructions

Desirable:

First Aid at Work
PASMA/IPAF
Additional construction-related qualifications

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist skilled tradespeople with general construction duties.
Keep work areas clean, tidy and organised.
Prepare tools, materials and equipment.
Assist with deliveries and collections.
Follow instructions from Site Managers and supervisors.
Work safely and maintain good housekeeping.
Use tools and equipment safely and appropriately.
Undertake ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements

Complete paperwork accurately where required
Report defects, hazards or issues promptly.
Maintain professional appearance and conduct.
Work effectively as part of a wider team.
Deliver a reliable and hardworking service.

Health, Safety & Compliance

Comply with legislation.
Take reasonable care for health & safety.
Co-operate to meet statutory requirements.
Follow site-specific health & safety procedures.
