General Ledger Accountant | Fully Qualified
6 month Day Rate Contract
Location: Newbury or Glasgow| Hybrid (2 -3 days per week on site)
Must be available to start Mid-September 2025
You must be eligible to work in the UK without the need for SponsorshipI'm recruiting on behalf of our Telecommunications Partner for a Fully Qualified Accountant to join on a 6-month day rate contract.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 year's experience in transactional accounting, month-end processing, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Tasks
Month-end journal preparation & posting
Month-end sense checks, analysis & reporting
Balance sheet reconciliations
Audit schedules and explanations
Working with team to resolve problems, identify and improve processes
Support accounting integration project Must haves
Qualified accountant (2yrs+ non-audit business experience)
Demonstratable experience of systems and processes controls and improvements
Month-end processing experience
Balance sheet reconciliations
Audit experience
Flexible and adaptable Nice to haves
SOX experience
Amdocs/Oracle/Smartview experience
