Braintree District Mencap provides social, eductional and leisure activities for adults with a learning disability in addition to support and guidance for themselves and their families.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated person who has the desire to ensure the views of those with a learning disability are listened to and where appropriate, enabled.
To manage and oversee all aspects of the Charities operations
To produce reports demonstrating progress, impact and outcomes for regular meetings with Charity Trustees
To maintain the financial sustainability of the Charity by identifying, applying and securing appropriate grants and funding
To clearly demonstrate and promote the positive impact of the Charity
Excellent communication skills are essential alongside the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects and a small staff team. Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, data protection and equal opportunities.
Robust IT skills, accurate literacy numeracy and the ability to analyse information to solve general queries. A positive role model who has the ability to inspire others
