Insight Executive Group are delighted to be working in partnership with a global FM service provider who are looking to hire a General Manager for their site in Oxford.
This is a full time permanent position with a starting salary of £50k and is looking to start ASAP.
Our client is looking for someone with a strong Soft FM background (ideally in catering and cleaning) and a background and/or experience within the Government/defence/military sectors would be ideal although not essential.
The successful General Manager will be responsible for:
* the overall accountability and responsibility for the day to day management, co-ordination and control of all activity across the designated contract and affiliated sites
* growth including the management of additional independent contracts on site
* managing the delivery of all services within all the operational business areas
* ensuring the standards of service detailed in the service level agreement, KPIs and within the schedules of the contractual terms and conditions are achieved, maintained and developed for assigned operational business area
The successful General Manager will be able to demonstrate:
* knowledge and experience of working in a management role within the soft FM service industry
* leadership skills and knowledge
* strong people management skills including general HR skills in recruitment, training and managing employee performance including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
* good numerical, interpersonal and communication skills
* management knowledge of health & safety and food safety
