General Sales Manager – Prestige Dealership
Guildford
£67,500 basic + OTE up to £90,000 + company car
Full-time | Permanent | 5-day week (Monday–Saturday rota, 8:30am–6:00pm)
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven General Sales Manager to lead a busy and successful prestige main dealership in the Guildford area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven automotive sales leader to take full ownership of a high-performing sales operation, driving results, inspiring a motivated team, and delivering a premium customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the sales department, overseeing new and used vehicle performance
* Drive sales, profit, and F&I targets through effective leadership and KPI management
* Coach, mentor, and motivate the sales and business management teams
* Manage budgets, stock levels, and showroom presentation for maximum efficiency
* Ensure every customer enjoys an outstanding retail experience aligned with a prestige brand
* Work closely with senior management to deliver strategic business objectives
About You
* Proven track record as a Sales Manager or General Sales Manager within the automotive sector
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Commercially astute with solid financial understanding
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational abilities
* Results-focused and passionate about delivering outstanding customer service
