Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time General Science Teacher for a short-term contract from November 2025 to December 2025.This opportunity is within a well-regarded secondary school that promotes a culture of high expectations and mutual respect. Deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Plan and assess learning in line with the national curriculum and school policies
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports pupil progress
Monitor and report on student attainment, behaviour, and development
Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives and enrichment activities
Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and contribute to the wider school communityGeneral Science Teacher – Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school setting
Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management
Committed to promoting high standards and pupil achievement
Able to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
