Are you a passionate and knowledgeable Science teacher with the drive to inspire the next generation of scientists? We are seeking a dedicated General Science Teacher to join our dynamic and supportive department. Whether you're an experienced educator or an ECT, we welcome applicants who bring energy, innovation, and enthusiasm to the classroom. Beginning December 2025.
Duties as a General Science Teacher:
Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3 and KS4 Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics).
Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with curriculum objectives.
Foster curiosity and scientific thinking through practical and theoretical learning.
Use data to track student progress and provide effective feedback.
Participate in the broader life of the school including enrichment activities and school events.
Ideal General Science Teacher:
Holds QTS (or equivalent) and a degree in a Science-related field.
Has strong classroom management skills and high expectations for behaviour and outcomes as General Science Teacher.
Demonstrates a commitment to inclusive education and student progress.
Can contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement.
