Support pupils in maths and English – General Teaching Assistant role in Barnet

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to join a well-regarded Church of England primary school in Barnet. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for someone with a strong grasp of the KS2 curriculum who thrives on supporting pupils to reach their full potential—particularly in Year 4 or Year 5.
The school is a warm, welcoming environment with a dedicated and supportive staff team. What we’re looking for
• A confident communicator with strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Experience supporting children in KS2 (ideally Year 4 or 5)
• A positive attitude, patience and a commitment to inclusion
• Previous experience with interventions or booster support is a bonus
