Job Title: Workshop Generator Engineer
Location: West Bromwich
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 + Bonus Scheme
Schedule: Monday to Friday – Day Shift
Overtime: Paid at time and a half

Service, maintain, and repair a range of diesel and petrol generators
Diagnose faults and perform mechanical, electrical, and fuel system repairs in a workshop environment
Conduct inspections and routine maintenance to ensure equipment is safe and compliant
Prepare generators for hire or dispatch
Accurately complete job cards, service records, and other relevant documentationWorkshop Generator Engineer – Requirements:
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering, Plant Maintenance, or equivalent (desirable)
Previous experience working on generators or similar mechanical/electrical equipment
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of diesel engine and electrical systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
