This is an exciting opportunity for a Geotechnical or Geo-Environmental Engineer to join a team of ground investigation specialists near Durham. With opportunities to develop skills, receive training and work on a variety of projects, this is a great next step in your career.
The Geo-Environmental Engineer selected will be working both in office and on site on a range of ground investigation projects, carrying out site walkovers, borehole logging, ground water and gas monitoring, Phase 1 and Phase 2 investigations, factual and interpretive report writing, liaising with clients and training junior members of the team. A well-established understanding of engineering geology is therefore essential.

Company vehicle.To be considered for the Geo-Environmental Engineer position you should:
Have a degree in environmental science, civil engineering, geology, geotechnical engineering, geoscience (or a similar/relevant subject).
Have experience as a geo-environmental or geotechnical engineer.
Hold a clean and valid UK Driving licence.
Be commutable to the Durham area and willing to travel to site at times.
