Teacher of Humanities – Middlesbrough Salary: £170 – £250 per day (depending on experience) Reference: DEBSEC22095 Type: Secondary | Supply Teaching Location: Middlesbrough Inspire the Next Generation of Thinkers ✝️ Are you a passionate Humanities teacher who loves bringing History, Geography, and Religious Studies to life in the classroom? We’re looking for an engaging and dedicated teacher to join our secondary schools in Middlesbrough, where you’ll spark curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and help students make sense of the world around them. Your Role ‍ Plan and deliver engaging, inspiring lessons across Humanities subjects. Track and assess pupil progress, offering constructive feedback and support. Create a positive classroom environment where every student feels valued and motivated. Work collaboratively with colleagues on creative, cross-curricular projects. Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and guardians through clear communication. Stay up to date with curriculum developments and best practice. About You UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a Humanities-related subject. Experience teaching History, Geography, or Religious Studies at secondary level (2+ years preferred). Strong classroom management and the ability to differentiate for diverse learners. Excellent communication skills and a passion for inspiring students. Bonus points if you hold a postgraduate qualification or enjoy using tech to enhance learning. What We Offer Competitive daily pay (£170–£250 depending on experience).
