Job Description

Geoenvironmental Engineer Location: Nottingham Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 + Benefits Are you a Geoenvironmental Engineer looking to develop your career with a well-established ground investigation consultancy? You'll have the chance to join a growing and highly respected consultancy in Nottingham that specialises in ground investigation, contaminated land, and geotechnical services. Due to project wins, they are looking to expand their team with an ambitious and driven engineer. The Role You'll be involved in a wide range of brownfield and greenfield development projects, supporting clients across residential, commercial, and infrastructure sectors. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on site experience alongside office-based reporting, with clear support towards professional development. Key Responsibilities Assisting with and supervising ground investigations Soil and groundwater sampling, logging, and monitoring Preparing Phase 1 Desk Studies and Phase 2 Site Investigation Reports Interpreting geoenvironmental data and undertaking risk assessments Liaising with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies Supporting remediation strategy development Requirements Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline 1-4 years' experience within a consultancy environment Experience with site work and report writing Understanding of contaminated land and ground investigation processes Full UK driving licence Benefits Competitive salary Company vehicle or allowance Overtime and site bonuses Pension scheme Ongoing training and career progression Support towards chartership Why Apply?
