Geography Teacher
Start: ASAP
Contract: Until Easter 2026 (with potential to extend/perm)
Location: Greater Manchester (flexible school matches)
Pay: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS) or competitive day rate
The role
Teach engaging KS3–KS4 Geography (KS5 desirable) with high-quality planning, delivery and assessment.
Create a purposeful classroom climate with strong behaviour routines and clear expectations.
Adapt teaching to meet a range of abilities; track progress and close gaps.
Contribute to department planning, trips/fieldwork and wider school life.
Work closely with pastoral teams, parents and support staff to secure the best outcomes.
We’re looking for
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) – ECTs welcome.
Recent UK classroom experience teaching Geography.
Strong curriculum and exam spec knowledge (AQA/Edexcel/OCR).
Excellent behaviour management and safeguarding practice.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply) and suitable references.
