Job Description
Teachwise is currently looking for an experienced Gepography Teacher for a mainstream secondary school based within the Bury area.
The role will involve teaching Geography up to KS4 and previous experience is required. There may also be the need to teach some general humanities to KS3.
The position is due to begin on 1st September 2025 and will continue on a full-time basis, 5 days per week until the end of the academic year.
Key Requirements:
* Ability to teach Geography up to KS4
* Ability to raise standards throughout
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to differentiate lessons accordingly
* Good behaviour management strategies
* Hold right to work in the UK
* Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
* Hold PGCE with QTS or equivalent
