Job Description
An Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary school in Greenwich is seeking a versatile and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join their dynamic and successful department. This is a full-time, permanent position, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4. The specific subject combination will likely include Geography and Geography, but could potentially involve other Geography subjects depending on expertise.
Responsibilities:
The successful Geography Teacher will plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons across multiple Geography subjects. You will create a stimulating learning environment that encourages inquiry, critical thinking, and a love of learning about the human world. Developing students' understanding of key concepts, fostering research and analysis skills, assessing progress, and providing constructive feedback are core parts of this Geography Teacher role.
Requirements:
Applicants must be a qualified Geography Teacher (QTS) with a relevant degree (e.g., Geography, Geography, Religious Studies). Proven experience teaching Geography subjects at the secondary level is essential. A passion for the Geography, excellent communication skills, and strong classroom management are required.
