Job Description
Astro Education are looking for an experienced Teacher of Geography to join a Secondary School in Stoke-on-Trent. Starting in September the role will involve teaching Geography to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
The role is a full time position, starting in September (sooner if available) for the whole of the academic year.
About the Opportunity
Astro Education is looking for a qualified and experienced Geography Teacher for a secondary school in Staffordshire. The role involves teaching students across Key Stages 3 and 4 the Geography curriculum. The successful candidate will play a key role throughout the academic year, focusing on raising student attainment and supporting them to reach their full potential. This role will be starting in September (sooner if available) on a full time basis and all applicants who hold QTS will considered.
Required Experience:
* Experienced teaching Geography to Key Stage 3 and 4 Students
* Hold QTS or equivalent.
* Be flexible, patient and adaptable
* Be able to communicate effectively within a team
* Will to take on full teaching responsibilities.
* Open to/ or have experience of working with a variety of SEN.
* Be able to work core school hours.
