Job Description
Veritas Education are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Dewsbury from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver engaging, high-quality Geography lessons to students aged 11-16, and to play a key role in a supportive and dynamic Humanities department.
About the Role:
Deliver creative and effective Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
Plan, prepare, and assess pupils' work to ensure excellent progress
Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices
Inspire students through real-world geography, sustainability, and global awareness
Maintain high standards of classroom management and student engagementAbout You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in Geography and a passion for teaching
Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
Newly Qualified Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply
