Geography Teacher - Northampton
Start Date: September 2025 | Full-Time | Long-Term Role

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a number of vibrant and forward-thinking secondary schools in Northampton, all dedicated to providing high-quality education within supportive and inclusive environments. These schools are seeking motivated and knowledgeable Geography Teachers to join their teams from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term position-perfect for experienced teachers or confident ECTs looking to establish their career in a well-supported setting.
As a Geography Teacher, you'll deliver engaging lessons that spark curiosity and help students understand the physical and human forces shaping our planet. You'll play a vital role in preparing pupils for exams while nurturing a broader global awareness.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering interactive and informative Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Encouraging analytical thinking through the use of case studies, fieldwork and real-world contexts
Monitoring and assessing pupil progress to ensure high achievement
Creating an inclusive and well-managed classroom that supports all learners
Contributing to department development and taking part in school-wide initiatives
The ideal candidate will:
Hold UK QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification in Geography
Have recent experience teaching Geography at secondary level in the UK
Be passionate about their subject with strong curriculum knowledge
Have the ability to inspire, motivate and challenge students of all abilities
Be committed to ongoing professional development and collaborative working
