Geography Teacher - Northampton
Start Date: September 2025 | Full-Time | Long-Term or Permanent Position

Tradewind Recruitment is working closely with several forward-thinking and inclusive secondary schools in Northampton, who are looking to appoint dynamic and dedicated Geography Teachers from September 2025. These long-term, full-time roles offer the opportunity to teach engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 in supportive school environments that value creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking.

What you'll be doing:
Teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 available in some schools depending on experience
Planning and delivering exciting, inclusive lessons that explore physical and human geography, sustainability, and global issues
Using real-world case studies and fieldwork to bring learning to life
Monitoring pupil progress and using data to inform teaching and intervention
Contributing to the wider Humanities department and school life, including extracurricular clubs and trips
Supporting the school's ethos of achievement, respect, and community engagement
What we're looking for:
A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent international teaching qualification)
Recent experience teaching Geography in a UK secondary school is highly desirable
Strong subject knowledge with a creative and student-centred approach to lesson planning
A confident classroom presence with excellent behaviour management skills
Commitment to personal development and enthusiasm for working as part of a collaborative team
