About the role – Geography Teacher
I am currently working with this school in Havering who are looking to appoint a qualified Geography teacher to start with them in September 2025. The successful teacher will join this secondary school on a full time basis. The qualified teacher must have strong behaviour management skills, where they will support mixed ability classes across key stage three and four. This position would be suitable for an experience candidate or even a newly qualified/early careers teacher.

This mainstream, all girls school based in Havering cater to students aged 11 to 18 with a total of 1300 students on site. The school was most recently graded good by Ofsted back in July 2019 where they were praised on their first-class education and opportunities to develop students’ skills, abilities and confidence. The school’s results are well above average nationally and have continued to improve in recent years. The school also have an SEN unit that supports roughly 119 students with the following needs; SpLD, Visual Impairment, Hearing Impairment, SLCN, ASD, SEMH, Multi-Sensory Impairment and Moderate Learning Difficulty.
