About the Role:
As a Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a curiosity about the world and developing students' understanding of physical and human geography. You’ll play a key role in helping students connect local and global issues, encouraging critical thinking and awareness of our changing planet.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum
Support students' academic progress through effective assessment and feedback
Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
Manage behaviour positively and professionally
Collaborate with department staff and contribute to wider school life
What We’re Looking For:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) with a specialism or experience in Geography
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography
Ability to inspire, motivate, and challenge students
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
ECTs are welcome and encouraged to apply
