We're working with a group of ambitious and inclusive secondary schools in Northampton, each looking to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic Geography Teacher for a September 2025 start. Whether you're looking for a long-term placement or a permanent role, there are exciting opportunities available to suit your path.
What the Role Involves:
Deliver high-quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4 (some schools offer KS5 teaching depending on experience)
Inspire students to think critically about the world, its people, and the environment
Use innovative teaching methods to bring topics like ecosystems, population, and sustainability to life
Plan lessons that challenge, support and engage a wide range of learners
Play a part in wider school life through trips, geography clubs, and whole-school initiatives
What We're Looking For:
A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) with a specialism in Geography or related subject
Strong understanding of the national curriculum and a confident classroom presence
A creative and reflective approach to teaching, with a passion for global learning
Commitment to inclusion, high standards, and helping all learners succeed
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply - full support and structured induction provided.
