Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Pay: £130 – £180 per day (dependent on experience)
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join a secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students in exploring the world around them, from physical landscapes to human environments, and to foster curiosity about global issues.
The Role:
Deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Plan and adapt creative schemes of work that develop knowledge, skills, and critical thinking.
Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning for all students.
Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Humanities department.
What We’re Looking For:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
Ideally, completion of ECT (Early Career Teacher) induction.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Geography.
Effective classroom management and communication skills.
Commitment to raising achievement and supporting the wider school community.
