Geotechnical Director

 Bristol | £80,000 - £90,000

A leading UK environmental and engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Geotechnical Director to lead and grow its ground engineering offering in the South West.

This is a senior leadership role with real influence, ideal for someone who wants to shape a team, drive strategy, and play a key role in the continued growth of an established, forward-thinking business.

The Role

You'll take ownership of the geotechnical function in the region, overseeing technical delivery while also playing a key role in winning and developing new business.

Lead and develop a growing geotechnical team
Oversee delivery of site investigations, foundation design and risk assessments
Provide technical sign-off and maintain high quality standards
Build and manage key client relationships
Identify and secure new work across infrastructure, residential and commercial sectors
Collaborate with geo-environmental and planning teams on multidisciplinary projectsAbout You

Chartered (or working towards) in Civil Engineering, Geology or a related field
Strong background in geotechnical design and ground investigation
Proven experience in a senior or leadership position
Commercially aware, with a track record of winning work
