Geotechnical Director Northamptonshire Permanent £75,000+ per Annum We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Geotechnical Director to join a well-established consultancy. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in geotechnics/geoenvironmental consulting/engineering geology, leading a team, reviewing and signing off on technical reports. This role demands strong technical and management capabilities along with excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders effectively. Package for this Geotechnical Director opportunity includes: Annual profit share Option for hybrid/flexible working arrangements Company pension and private healthcare Professional membership fees paid Opportunity to lead and shape a growing team This Geotechnical Director opportunity involves: - Oversee and lead the geotechnical and environmental teams, providing technical guidance and leading project delivery - Review and sign off on technical reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and regulations - Engage with stakeholders including clients, regulatory bodies, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met - Manage and administer projects including tendering, resource allocation, and financial oversight - Provide expert advice and support on geotechnical and environmental issues, with a focus on quality and innovation Candidate Requirements: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field - Professional certification or licensure in Geotechnical Engineering - Extensive experience in geotechnical design, contaminated land assessments, and project management - Strong understanding of relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices - Proven track record in stakeholder management and communication skills with clients and regulatory bodies to address project needs and concerns
