The successful Geotechnical Engineer will be working on site and in office on a wide variety of ground investigation projects. The position entails supervising drilling rigs, writing factual and interpretive reports, carrying out Phase 1 Desktop studies and Phase 2 investigations, soil and rock logging and groundwater and gas monitoring. Close attention to details and willingness to learn techniques is essential.

Have a degree in geotechnical engineering, geoscience, applied/engineering geology or civil engineering (with a focus on ground investigation and soil mechanics).
Have experience in Engineering Geology with site work and report writing proficiency.
Live in or near to Edinburgh.
Hold a valid UK driving licence and be willing to travel for work.
Be willing to show enthusiasm to learn and apply knowledge.
