A multidisciplinary engineering consultancy based near Colchester are seeking an experienced geotechnical design engineer to join their team on a variety of exciting projects around the UK. Offering focussed support to chartership and an abundance of projects to work on, this is a great opportunity to progress in your career and develop skills.
The Geotechnical Design Engineer selected will be developing ground models and designing structures including retaining walls, foundations, piles, and reinforced soil slopes on a range of residential and commercial projects. Engineers will also be conducting ground movement assessments and training junior members of the team.
The Geotechnical Design Engineer selected will be offered:

Support to chartership.To be considered for the Geotechnical Design Engineer position you should:
Have experience as a Geotechnical Design Engineer, with a strong understanding of soil mechanics and experience using software's such as , AutoCAD, Excel, Alp, PDisp, Rocscience Slide, ADC Adsec, Oasys Pile and WALLAP
Have a degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering (with a geotechnical focus) or similar (MSc preferred).
Have a full and clean UK Driving Licence.
Be commutable to Colchester and the surrounding area.
