Geotechnical Engineer 

Derby 

£30,000 - £35,000

We are looing for a Geotechnical Engineer who is interested to join a growing multidisciplinary consultancy in Derby. If you are looking to join a consultancy that specialises in delivering high-quality solutions for existing commercial and residential developments, we woud love to hear from you.

The Role

This Geotechnical Engineer position will see you working across a variety of projects, supporting the assessment, investigation, and development of sites within existing commercial and residential environments.

As a Geotechnical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Planning and supervising ground investigations
Soil and rock logging in line with industry standards
Producing factual and interpretive geotechnical reports
Carrying out analysis and providing foundation and design recommendations
Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams
Supporting junior staff and contributing to project deliveryThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer looking to develop technically while gaining exposure to a strong pipeline of repeat business across existing developments.

Requirements

Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering, or similar
Experience within a geotechnical or ground investigation role
Strong understanding of site investigation techniques and reporting
Familiarity with UK standards and Eurocodes
